Why is aeration important?

Answered By Harry Gurney, Editor

Sufficient aeration of the root is very vital in hydroponics plants. It is essential for obtaining the fuel that the plants need in order to produce plant tissues. It will promote fast-growing and healthy plants if there is an adequate aeration environment. It enables the plant to get more oxygen for its use and diffuse the excessive carbon dioxide.
